Jerry Dettinger, founder of Breaking Through, believes in the American dream and also believes in the soldiers who are defining that dream. Recently, Jerry had this to say about AUSA:
Living in a democracy enables us to an incredible opportunities. Democracy gives voice to everyone and that is why it is hard to maintain focus on victory in wartime. As time goes on, elections come up and dissent over the war will become even more vocal. We have a long-term commitment ahead of us and our soldiers are out there defending our way of life. In turn we need to support the soldiers and their families so they can do their jobs. This is my way. I have found AUSA a Grass Roots non bureaucratic way to support the troops. The need is there and growing and AUSA is out there with a blend of civilians and military doing things that make a difference.
