Hiway Credit Union

You may have heard about Hiway Credit Union. The credit union has become a visible and enthusiastic supporter of our causes, ranging from generous and much-needed funding for the Wounded Warrior Gift Bags, Toys4MilitaryKids, and the Band of Brothers events. Hiway partnered with the VICTRI “Veterans’ Initiative Center & Research Institute to host a small business workshop for veterans and service members, and has provided sponsorship of our upcoming Military Night with the Minnesota Swarm. The credit union has also become an active member of the Armed Forces Employer Partnership program, and is working to achieve status as a Governor’s “Yellow Ribbon Company.”

Reaching out to civil servants is nothing new for Hiway Credit Union. The credit union was founded in 1931 to serve employees of the Minnesota Departments of Transportation and Public Safety and through the years, has expanded its charter to offer membership to individuals and organizations. Earlier this year, Hiway Credit Union became even more acutely aware of the unique needs of military personnel and their families when the organization merged resources with Fort Snelling Federal Credit Union. As a result, Hiway Credit Union extends to you and all of our Vessey Chapter members an opportunity to join a vibrant, innovative financial services provider. From its headquarters in St. Paul, Hiway Credit Union now serves more than 64,000 members around the world and totals more than $825 million in assets.

Credit Unions exist for one reason: Service to members. And Hiway Credit Union is nationally recognized for its stellar commitment to its membership. Hiway Credit Union says it all:

To deliver member-driven service that is unparalleled by any other financial institution. By exceeding our members’ expectations, we consistently demonstrate to our current and potential members that Hiway Credit Union the best choice for all their financial business.

We invite you to consider making Hiway Credit Union – one of our chapter’s most active and committed partners – your financial services provider. As Hiway Credit Union clearly states, the credit union is dedicated to “providing financial success on the road of life…” for military families…and all its members.
