Warrior to Citizen: Stories of Minnesota's Most Recent Veterans

A Partnership Project with The Humphrey Institute Center for Democracy & Citizenship.
& Vessey Chapter of AUSA

In response to the desire to support our returning soldiers, the Vessey Chapter has joined a coalition of Minnesotans who have created the Warrior to Citizen campaign a statewide grassroots effort to provide enduring community support to returning soldiers and their families.

Challenging veterans to greatness. They know how to serve.

Warrior to Citizen Challenge Coin Program
Honoring the Service

The coin is a symbol of the Warrior to Citizen Campaign; it is the physical symbol of the commitment of our community to reengage the warrior. It is an incentive piece to the warrior to reengage in community life. The coin provides the motivation to the warrior to join the community (through receiving the coin because of event attendance and taking it into the community to see how it is honored) and the challenge to the community and the warrior is in Honoring the Service.

Coins are presented to a Warrior when they do an Oral History or attend a Coin Sponsored Event. Find out more about events by contacting: dmk37@hotmail.com
