Minneapolis based ReconRobotics is a new company that has been formed to commercialize patented field-proven technology developed in the University of Minnesota Distributed Robotics Laboratory. The company designs, develops, manufactures, deploys and supports miniature robotic systems and distributed robotic teams. These robots are specifically designed to provide real time information in hazardous or restricted space areas, for both military and commercial markets. The company also leverages its patented miniature robotics technology and produces an educational/research platform product for use by other universities and research facilities.
