Neuro Strength, LLC, located in Bloomington, MN, is recruiting Iraq and Afghanistan veterans for their Veterans Study. The goal of the study is to determine the efficacy of Brainwave Optimization with RTB™ (RealTime Balancing) in managing PTSD and depression. Brainwave Optimization with RTB™ was designed for relaxation, self-regulation and meditation. In the summer and fall of 2010, study participants will be given a brain assessment and 12 2-hour training sessions, and will be asked to complete brief before and after interviews. During training sessions, clients sit in a relaxing anti-gravity chair and complete 5-9 personalized protocol or exercises. Some exercises are done with eyes open, and others with eyes closed, and clients are instructed to visualize, use breathing or relaxation techniques, and the like. Talk therapy is not a part of this process.
This technology is based on a theory of quantum physics which states that when something is observed, it changes. Throughout sessions, brain activity (electromagnetic energy) is captured and translated into an optimized pattern of sound that the client hears. This allows the brain to observe (hear) itself and ultimately create new, more effective neural pathways.
Brainwave Optimization with RTB™ is not intended to treat, cure, heal, or diagnose any disease, mental illness or symptom. Brainwave Optimization with RTB™ is intended to balance and harmonize brain waves. Study participation is FREE to veterans, thanks to a private donation.
