ABOUT US

Since 1957, the General Vessey Chapter of the Association of the United States Army has worked to support all aspects of the soldiers and their family while advancing the interests of America’s Army and the men and women who serve. For over 50 years the Vessey Chapter, an entirely volunteer organization, has been actively working to improve and support the lives of all Military Service Members and their families living in Minnesota and the surrounding states.

AUSA is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America’s Army – Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees and family members. AUSA provides numerous Professional Development Opportunities at a variety of events both local and national.

WHO CAN JOIN?

The Vessey Chapter of AUSA is open to all military service members, Army ranks and all components—including Active, National Guard and Reserve—and Department of the Army civilians, retirees, corporations, businesses, concerned citizens and family members. Indeed, AUSA welcomes anyone who subscribes to the philosophy of a strong national defense with special concern for the Army. Community businesses and defense industry companies are also represented by AUSA National.
